My enthusiasm for wedding photography started on work at a friend's wedding in the Bordeaux region of France. The finished assembly of photographs was well received, which initiated my passion to document the emotion, grace and excitement of the most important day in a couple's life as it unfolds in front of the lens.

I began professional portrait-work on the beach of Pampelonne (St Tropez) in the summer of 1989. There, after setting up contracts with a few select beach bars, I offered their customers candid portraits to fit their needs. I sold my photography by placing the contact sheets at the bar and developed the photographs in the local photography shop. This location portrait work was my photography school, using the available natural light and the location to create the end product.

My first corporate work was as an assistant photographer on a fashion shoot for a French clothing company in 1994. From carrying the tripod to holding the spare camera it was the only way to gain experience. Now over 12 years later on we have our own national and international customer base and sell my images and photography services to hotel chains, specialist magazines, international corporations and local companies.
